Enzo Mari Table – Deviation Music

We were commissioned to create a bespoke table and benches based on Enzo Mari’s iconic Autoprogettazione project. First published in 1974, Autoprogettazione is a pioneering DIY design initiative that encourages people to build their own furniture using simple materials.

We reinterpreted this concept in steel, translating the original wooden design into a durable, contemporary form. The piece was fabricated entirely in our Hertfordshire workshop using mild steel, glass bead blasted for a smooth surface, and finished with a clear powder coat to achieve a seamless matte finish.

This project reflects our commitment to creating bespoke, beautiful, and long-lasting pieces. We maintain a collection of furniture available for hire for photoshoots and events.

The table and benches were used at These Are The Levels, a celebration of Deviation’s 18th birthday. The event featured a limited-edition photobook published by Zak Group, documenting the club’s history with over 300 images of artists including A$AP Rocky, Skepta, and Travis Scott. Curated by Judah Afriyie, the exhibition brought together music, design, and fashion to create an immersive cultural experience.
