We were commissioned by Gathering Gallery to create a series of sculptures for Emanuel de Carvalho. Working from a conceptual drawing developed by the artist in collaboration with an architect, we translated the architect’s CAD into a fully functional production model using Fusion 360.

From this model, we prepared all components for laser cutting and assembled the sculpture in our workshop. The piece incorporates multiple materials, including charred ash, demonstrating our capacity to work across a wide range of materials. We are also part of a trusted network of specialists, enabling us to deliver complex, multi-material projects to a high standard.

This project is an example of a large-scale work completed within a tight three-week deadline. Designed to be imposing within the gallery space, it required precise planning and problem-solving due to extremely small tolerances and a unique, challenging geometry. The final sculpture was flat-packable, allowing it to be transported and exhibited in multiple locations. Throughout the process, we liaised closely with various specialists to ensure a high-quality finish delivered on time.
