Vintner House Commission

Vintner House Commission

The Vintner House Commission is an exciting new public sculpture project, created in partnership with Harlow Art Trust and Harlow Council. In December 2025, Ore Projects was selected to collaborate with local students to design a permanent artwork for the town.

Celebrating creativity, connection, and Harlow’s heritage, the project gives students the chance to leave a lasting legacy. Over the past three years, they have developed their skills at Ore Projects and co-created the sculpture’s design. Made from corten steel and inspired by the nearby Roman temple site, the sculpture represents a hand reaching out to our ancestors.

Students have participated in workshops to generate ideas, create models, and help plan the fabrication process. The sculpture is set to be fabricated and unveiled in Spring 2026, marking an exciting milestone for both the students and the local community.
